Dr. George Kay graduated from University of Michigan Medical School in 1979. Dr. Kay has two offices in Alabama.
Specializing in the field of Cardiac Electrophysiology, Dr. Kay is prepared to study and treat rhythm disorders of the heart using diagnostic tests to assess the “electrical system” of the heart, including conditions such as arrhythmias. Dr. Kay performs studies that may be invasive (intracardiac) or non-invasive to record the spontaneous electrical activity and any responses to programmed electrical stimulation. Dr. Kay is also trained to implant pacemakers and defibrillators, and to provide follow up care to implant patients. Dr. Kay is also trained to practice Cardiology and Pediatric Cardiology.
